Trend justification: The species has been undergoing a small decline at an average rate of 0.25% per year between 1970 and 2017 (Partners in Flight 2019; Rosenberg et al. 2019). Short-term trends however suggest that this decline is historical; the population has been increasing by 6% over the past ten years, though this value is non-significant (Pardieck et al. 2018).
