Site description (2000 baseline):

A range of hills to the north-west of Zaragoza. They are covered with Pinus woodland, sclerophyllous scrub and arable crops. Human activities include hunting, agriculture and military manoeuvres.

This is also a nationally important site for resident raptors.

The greatest threat is from fires.
