Site description (2001 baseline):
Site location and context
A large flat depression surrounded by rivers Vorona, Palnoi Voronezh and Matyra. There are about 20 small swamps with total area upto 1000 ha. Used as extensive agricultural land.
Conservation responses/actions for key biodiversity
There are plans for creation of Zapovednik here.
