Site description (2004 baseline):

Generlly, the area is important for water birds. But, not condact researsh work in resent years therefore could not tell exactly number and resource of birds. The area located in the border area of two provinces-Gobi-Altai and Zavkhan.

Important habitat of water birds reduce some dry years and reduce number of birds
