Site location and context

Located near Songhuajiang, Tonghe County. The IBA is a natural reedbed which extends 7 km from east to west and 3 km from north to south. It is used by migratory waterbirds.

Established as a county-level nature reserve in 1988, mainly for the protection of waterbirds.
