Site location and context
Deep ravines with the Wutach and Gauchach streams. Gravel-banks support
Petasites communities. Habitat-types include
Alnus riverine forest, ravine forest (
Fagus,
Abies-
Fagus and
Pinus-
Abies),
Salix scrub, dry grassland, lightly agriculturally-improved meadows, cliff communities, fallow land, orchards and gravel-pits.
National High
International HighIBA overlaps with Landscape Protected Area and Nature Reserve. IBA overlaps with Special Protection Area.
