Site description (2001 baseline)
Extremely marshy northern taiga with a large number of lakes.
Key biodiversity
Based on data in the previous European IBA inventory (Grimmett and Jones 1989), this is an important breeding and post-breeding site for Cygnus cygnus. Breeding species of global conservation concern that do not meet IBA criteria: Haliaeetus albicilla (1_pair). Other breeding species include Anser fabalis and Pandion haliaetus (1_pair).
