Site location and context
A high plateau covered mainly by spruce plantations with remnant acid fens and
Fagus woodland.
Species listed on Annex I of the EC Birds Directive occurring on passage or wintering include
Milvus milvus, M. migrans, Circus cyaneus, C. aeruginosus and
Lullula arborea.

International None1 ha of IBA covered by Nature Reserve (Natures Reserves in Wanne-Longbiermé, 1 ha).
