Site description (2004 baseline)
Large area of mixed and deciduous forest interspersed with open farmland. Listed as an IBA since 2000 [3, 1]. Shape and size of the area was dramatically modified during LIFE-Nature project in 2001-2003. Fully protected: there is a 100% overlap with the newly designated Vecumi forests nature park, a candidate SPA.
