Site location and context
The site includes alpine meadows, scree and rocky slopes, cliffs, moorlands, conifer forest, rivers and riverine forest.
This area is of special interest for mountain and forest breeding species.
Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
No major threats are known at this site. Since closure of the access road, tourist pressure has declined. There is a project to establish a nature reserve.
