Site location and context
A river valley with associated riverine forest, wet and mesophile grassland, deciduous woodland, marshes and reedbeds (
Phragmites).
The site is important for birds breeding in wetlands and riverine forest.
Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
The intensification of agriculture, particularly the ploughing of grasslands for arable crops, is the main threat. The afforestation of natural wet meadows is also a significant threat. The site is included in an agri-environmental scheme.
