Site location and context
A river valley with associated riverine forest, wet and mesophile grassland, deciduous woodland, marshes and reedbeds (Phragmites).



Key biodiversity
The site is important for birds breeding in wetlands and riverine forest.



Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
The intensification of agriculture, particularly the ploughing of grasslands for arable crops, is the main threat. The afforestation of natural wet meadows is also a significant threat. The site is included in an agri-environmental scheme.
