Site description (2000 baseline):

The site contains a river, reservoir, riverine forest, marshes, reedbeds (Phragmites), Populus plantations, orchards and abandoned fields.

Species of global conservation concern that do not meet IBA criteria: Aythya nyroca (wintering).

Disturbance due to fishing and recreation (boating) threaten the Sterna hirundo colony.
