Site location and context
The site includes a river, reservoir, ponds, wet and mesophile meadows, patches of woodland, marshes and aquatic vegetation, arable fields and
Populus plantations.
Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
Industrial pollution of the river, destruction of riverine vegetation, the extension of gravel-pits, and recreation (boating) are the main threats.
