Site location and context
A complex of wet meadows, a river, riverine forest and marshes.



Key biodiversity
This is an important site for species breeding in wet meadows, and wintering waterbirds.



Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
The main reported threats are afforestation with Populus, meadow abandonment, conversion of meadows into arable fields and early mowing of remnant meadows.



Protected areas
National Low International Low93 ha of IBA covered by Nature Reserve (Truchère-Ratenelle, 93 ha). 93 ha of IBA covered by Special Protection Area (Val de Saône: La Truchère, 93 ha).
