Site description (2000 baseline)
One of the most intact Pinus canariensis forests in Tenerife, located in the west of the island. The forest and scrub cover a number of gullies.

Key biodiversity
The site is important for Dendrocopos major canariensis, Fringilla teydea and other pine-forest species.
