Site location and context
A rugged landscape with many small gorges, small
Quercus and
Juniperus woods, scrub and arable cultivation. The main human activities are sheep-grazing and forestry.
This is an important breeding area for cliff-nesting raptors, particularly
Gyps fulvus and
Neophron percnopterus.
Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
No serious threats known at the site.
