Site description (2009 baseline):

Located within Tianlongshan Forest Park (established in 1992), 10 km from Jinci. The IBA has good forest cover, and supports many rare plants.

Non-bird biodiversity: Leopards and Leopard Cats are found in the area.

Established as a provincial-level nature reserve in 1993.
