Site description (2004 baseline)
A shallow and highly eutrophic lake surrounded by wet meadows and farmland. First listed in the second national IBA inventory [1]. Fully protected: there is a 100% overlap with the newly designated Tasu lake restricted nature reserve, a candidate SPA.
