Site description (2000 baseline):

Site location and context
A mountainous area of inland cliffs and exposed bedrock, with sea cliffs at the coast. The landscape supports drought-resistant scrub and crops, and goat-farming and tourism are the main land-uses.



Key biodiversity
The site holds an important population of Calonectris diomedea.



Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
The main threats are tourist activities, which can cause disturbance to birds and habitat degradation, and the effects of introduced rats Rattus, cats Felis catus, goats Capra hircus, and sheep.
