Site location and context
This area is located in the south of Sumba Island and the third biggest forest block in Sumba.
Secondary forest and only few area covered by primary forest. It has a spectacular landscape because of combination between grassland, savanna and forest area (Jepson
et.al.1996)
Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
Forest burning and forest cutting for agriculture (small scale) (Jepson
et.al.1996).
