Site location and context
A peninsula jutting into the sea, with steep cliffs. Land covers 70 ha of the site, the rest being sea.



Key biodiversity
The cliffs are important for breeding seabirds.



Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
Planned oil production in the Barents Sea may have a negative impact on coastal and marine birds.



Protected areas
National High International None220 ha of IBA covered by Nature Reserve (Sværholtklubben, 220 ha).
