Site description (2000 baseline):

Site location and context
The landscape is a mix of forested areas and a fine-scale habitat mosaic of small agricultural fields, grassland, pastures, orchards and small villages. The forests consist mainly of Picea and Pinus, with small stands of Fagus.



Key biodiversity
An important area for species characteristic of low-intensity mixed agriculture and woodland.



Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
Early mowing dates threaten the Crex crex population.
