Site location and context
Two small rocky islands vegetated with sparse scrub.
This is an important area for breeding seabirds and passage migrants. Species of global conservation concern that do not meet IBA criteria:
Aythya nyroca (passage),
Aquila clanga (passage),
Falco naumanni (passage),
Larus audouinii (passage).
Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
The main threats include hunting, despite its being prohibited, introduced rats
Rattus, disturbance and fires. The area is a candidate SAC.
