Site description (2000 baseline):
Site location and context
A mesotrophic freshwater lake. The southern part has reedbeds (
Phragmites) and borders an area of bog. There are also a lot of small lakes (c.1 ha) with reeds.
Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
The area is a candidate Special Area for Conservation.

International PartialIBA overlaps with Landscape Protected Area and Nature Reserve. IBA overlaps with Ramsar Site.
