Site description (2000 baseline):

A rocky island in the Black Sea, near the Danube delta, covered with grassland. It is a military training area.

Species of global conservation concern that do not meet IBA criteria: Phalacrocorax pygmeus (1-10 non-breeding birds).

Storms can pose a threat.
