An island with rugged coasts, steep cliffs, boulder-screes, and coastal grass slopes. Land-uses include sheep-grazing.



Key biodiversity
The site holds internationally important seabird colonies, with c.280,000 pairs of breeding seabird, including Rissa tridactyla (22,900 pairs).
