Site description (2000 baseline):

Site location and context
Situated to the north of the Sierra de Siruela, the site is predominantly covered by dehesas, with grasslands and some cereal cultivation. Human activities include cattle-grazing.



Key biodiversity
This is an important area for wintering Grus grus and breeding raptors.



Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
Occasional robbing of raptors' nests is reported.
