Site description (2000 baseline):

An area of Alnus swamp-forest, wet grassland, reed Phragmites and sedge-beds located in the Kinzig-Murg depression. Other habitat-types present include fallow land with wet hollows, ponds and wet Salix scrub.

National Partial International NoneIBA overlaps with Nature Reserve (97 ha).
