Site description (2000 baseline)
A mountain area in southern Italy, dominated by extensive woodlands (mainly pine Pinus and beech Fagus), traditionally cultivated land, pastures, grasslands and artificial lakes. The main land-uses are forestry, agriculture, hunting and tourism.
Key biodiversity
A notable breeding site for several woodland species.
