Site description (2000 baseline)
An area of hills with slopes covered by scrub, Quercus woodland and Eucalyptus and Pinus plantations. Dehesas occupy the northern section of the site. The main human activities are forestry and hunting.

Key biodiversity
This is an important site for breeding raptors, particularly for Aegypius monachus. Species of global conservation concern that do not meet IBA criteria: Aquila adalberti (non-breeding).
