Site location and context
A coastal marsh enclosed by sand-dunes,
Pinus forest and maquis covered hills.
A total of 175 species have been recorded at this site.
Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
There are plans to establish an Olympic rowing and canoeing centre and golf course on this site, which would destroy most of the area. Other threats include urban development and expansion, both legal and illegal.
