Site description (2000 baseline)
A lake with an island, adjacent peatbog (Kuhlrader Moor) and scrub (Alnus, Salix and Betula). Fishing takes place on the lake; the area around the peatbog is used for agriculture.

Species of global conservation concern that do not meet IBA criteria: Aythya nyroca (breeding).
