Site description (2000 baseline)
Inland sand-dunes and sand beaches on the north-east coast of Fuerteventura. Human activities include sport boating.

Key biodiversity
The site is important for breeding steppic species and wintering and migrating waders. The area also supports breeding Calonectris diomedea and Charadrius alexandrinus.
