Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
The main threat to the IBA is posed by agricultural intensification on land adjacent to the Nature Reserve and, to a lesser extent and in spite of it being protected, within the reserve itself. The plant
Solidago virgaurea has been introduced and is a problem. Human access is controlled during the breeding season, and there is a management plan for the site.
