Site location and context

The IBA comprises coastal wetlands and lagoons. The swans winter at three lagoons, named Yue Hu (Tian’e Hu), Chaoyang Hu (Chaoyang Tian’e Hu) and Yangyu Hu (Mashangang Tian’e Hu).

Non-bird biodiversity: No information.

Conservation responses/actions for key biodiversity

Established as a nature reserve in 1991, upgraded to a provincial-level nature reserve in 2000 and to a national nature reserve in 2007.
