Site description (2000 baseline)
A forested hilly area with scattered glades, wetlands and heathlands. Approximately half the forested area comprises Picea abies plantations, the remainder being mainly broadleaved forest plantations with several smaller areas of mature forest dominated by Fagus or Quercus.
Key biodiversity
Other species listed on Annex I of the Birds Directive that also breed at the site include Pernis apivorus, Caprimulgus europaeus and Lanius collurio.
