Site description (2000 baseline):
Site location and context
Limestone cliffs along the River Martín in the northern foothills of the Sistema Ibérico. The vegetation is composed of Mediterranean scrub, maquis, xerophytic grasslands and a few
Pinus woodlands.
This is an important site for cliff-nesting raptors.
Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
Threats include the illegal use of poisoned baits, birds colliding with powerlines and rubbish-dumping in the river.
