Site summary
The site boundary is based upon a seaward extension of 50 km around Vetauua to encompass the foraging range of IBA threshold numbers of Black Noddy based upon a 2007 population estimate of 107,622 individuals Jit, R. P., Masibalavu, V., Cranwell, V., Seniloli, E., Sukal, A. and Franceschi. J. B. (2007) Survey Report - Ringgold Isles Conservation. Unpublished report to Birdlife International, a seaward extension of 50 km around Nukubasaga & Nukupureti to encompass the foraging range of IBA threshold numbers of Black Noddy based upon a 2010 population estimate of 141,099 individuals BirdLife International (unpublished data, 2010) and a seaward extension of 75 km around Quelelevu Islands to encompass the foraging range of IBA threshold numbers of Red-footed Booby based upon a 2007 population estimate of 9,585 individuals Jit, R.
