Site location and context
The site includes ponds, moorlands, Quercus forests, marshes and aquatic vegetation, cereal fields and bocages.



Key biodiversity
The site is regionally important for breeding and wintering waterbirds. Species of global conservation concern that do not meet IBA criteria: Aythya nyroca (passage); Haliaeetus albicilla (wintering).



Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
High hunting pressure and the destruction of reedbeds (Phragmites) by coypu Myocaster coypus are the main threats.
