Site location and context
An offshore island and adjacent mainland cliffs, north-west of Quriyat. There is an as-yet-unstudied archaeological site on the island.

Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
Eggs from the tern colony are often heavily harvested by local people, and excessive disturbance is a major threat to nesting birds. The area is a proposed National Scenic Reserve.
