Site description (2003 baseline):

There are around 24 villages in Babar Island that concentrate in coastal area. Meanwhile the central part of the island is still forested.

Non-bird biodiversity: Endemic snake Cylindrophis babar (Monk et.al.1997)

The main habitat is moist deciduous forest (Monk et.al.1997).
