Site location and context
The site includes garrigue, dry meadows, cliffs and rocky slopes.
The site is important for breeding raptors, Mediterranean and mountain species. Species of global conservation concern that do not meet IBA criteria:
Tetrax tetrax (breeding).
Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
Abandonment of stock-raising is the main threat, leading to growth of bushes and trees in alpine habitats. There is also a risk of urbanization. There is a project to designate an SPA in the site.
