Site description (2000 baseline):

Site location and context

A mixture of extensive reedbed (Phragmites), Alnus/Betula stands, scrub, fen and bog. Agricultural and forestry activities take place within the framework of a management plan, including the replacement of Pinus plantations with deciduous forest.

Protected areas

National Partial International HighIBA overlaps with Nature Reserve. IBA overlaps with Special Protection Area.
