Site description (2019 baseline)
The IBA is comprised of a small valley dominated by extensive farmland, with small parcels of diverse crops, forest groves and meadows and Rujan mountain, which is largely deforested throughout its range and is covered mainly by pastures, shrubland and small forest groves, especially along small watercourses and valleys and ravines. The entire area has a strong sub-Mediterranean climate influence. It is situated within municipalities of Presevo and Bujanovac in Southern Serbia.
