Site summary
A subalpine landscape with mixed and natural coniferous forests at lower elevations. Above the treeline, there are extensive alpine meadows and rocky areas. An important site for species associated with subalpine forest, particularly Green Woodpecker, Ring Ouzel and Citril Finch. The site is a migratory bottleneck, where more than 3’000 raptors regularly pass in autumn. The main threat is from recreational activities.
