Site description (2000 baseline)
An undulating area with dehesas, olive-groves, grasslands and cereal fields. The area is used for sheep-grazing and hunting.

Key biodiversity
An important wintering site for Grus grus. Species of global conservation concern that do not meet IBA criteria: Tetrax tetrax (resident).
