En el territorio del Parque se encuentran representados tres grupos culturales diferentes, los Uwa, los llaneros quienes están asentados sobre las estribaciones de la cordillera, pie de monte y las sabanas, y la cultura campesina altoandina en la vertiente occidental de la cordillera.
