Site description (2000 baseline)
A mid- to high-altitude mountain area with conifer forests, dry meadows, alpine meadows, scree and cliffs, glaciers and permanent lying snow.
Key biodiversity
The site holds important populations of mountain, forest and raptor species. Species of global conservation concern that do not meet IBA criteria: Crex crex (irregular breeder).
