Site location and context
An inaccessible rugged mountain chain with high cliffs in the western part.



Key biodiversity
The site is of great importance for raptors. Species of global conservation concern that do not meet IBA criteria: Falco naumanni (breeding).



Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
Hunting is a potential threat. Part of the area is a candidate SAC.



Protected areas
National Partial International NonePart of IBA is covered by Wildlife Refuge (Ravenis-Malouniou, 2,500 ha).
