Site description (2000 baseline):

Site location and context
A mountainous area between Sabiñánigo and Boltaña with cliffs, Quercus and Pinus forest and scrub. Livestock-farming and game hunting are the most important human activities.



Key biodiversity
This is a nationally important site for alpine species.



Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
The most important threats are the construction of new roads and powerlines and disturbance from recreational activities, particularly of Gypaetus barbatus.
